Air Traffic Cop
Beach City is infested.
Swarming with flying scum.
Flying taxis... flying racecars... flying fire trucks...
Your flying cop car's on its last flying leg, but that doesn't mean you'll go down easy. You're going to ground hell, eventually, but sure as shootin' you're gonna take as many of these flying degenerates with you as you can!
Air Traffic Cop is a horizontal shoot 'em up where vertical movement is restricted to flying up and falling down. Shoot down oncoming traffic for score until you inevitably crash.
Your flying cop car can take ten hits, but a mid-air collision or a crash landing will take it out immediately.
Score multipliers apply based on remaining health and time played.
Controls:
- Z to shoot
- X to fly up
- arrow keys to move left and right
- P to pause (and unpause)
- R to restart
Air Traffic Cop is my first original game and was made as a submission to My First Game Jam: Winter 2021

HAHA, this game is really fun and hilarious! LOVE IT!
Made a video
The game looks and feels great. Love the soundtrack, and love the old tv style looks. The the overall game, I think it's too difficult. There are so many enemies in the beginning, it's almost one hit when you hit another vehicles, and the fact that the aim direction are depending on the vehicle's direction makes it too hard to shoot. But overall, it's really polished!
Oh, so funny idea! I really like the old tv style, art and music is very fitting! I wish flying up was with the arrow key, but overall I enjoyed the game!
